I started a podcast!

Welcome to Patchwork Revival!

Well, y’all, I did it!

I started my very own podcast that I am beyond excited to share with you!

About two months ago, I had a vision of creating a podcast for the sole purpose of celebrating the tradition of quilting. I was lucky enough to have a grandmother who served as my mentor in learning to quilt, and as I’ve navigated my quilt-making journey without her these last few years, I’m beginning to understand just what an important legacy she left for me to continue.

Quilting is about community.

By now, I have over 25 years of quilting experience (28, if we’re being exact!), and a whole bunch of friends of all ages who have taught me that quilting is always about more than just making a quilt. It is about sharing, mentorship, generosity…in short, it is about community. Have you ever thought about the generations of quilting folk who came before you? What about the makers of all of those beautiful quilts we see at the thrift stores? How do we honor their legacy while innovating and evolving in our quilting practices? My goal in starting Patchwork Revival is to discuss all of these questions (and more!).

We’re going back to our quilting roots.

From family heirlooms to thrift store finds, every quilt holds a piece of history, and a little piece of a quilter’s heart. Join me every other week to get back to our quilting roots! We’ll celebrate quilts and the real people who made them, learn a little bit about the history of quilting, and have lots of fun exploring ways to reclaim tradition in a modern world.

Stay tuned!

An introductory episode will be coming your way SOON! For now, enjoy this trailer for a little preview of what’s coming your way! Be sure to check us out on your favorite platform linked at the top of this page, and give Patchwork Revival a follow so you don’t miss out on any of the fun.
